Prison Ministry

• Half-Way Church Volunteers needed to provide and serve meals to the homeless and destitute of Reading.
• Musicians needed to play at Sunday afternoon services.
• Women musicians needed to play for Tuesday evening services.

Outreach events include:

• Back-to-School:  School supply donors, donation collection and delivery.
• Reading Iron Playground Outreach:  Food and equipment transport, food purchase, food preparation and serving, evangelism, crafts, games, basketball.
• Midnight Ministry:  Food and equipment transport, food preparation and serving, evangelism, set up and tear down.
• Thanksgiving Baskets:  Food item donors, food purchase, packing and sorting baskets, sorting and picking clothing, greeters/evangelism.
• Individual Development Account Program:  Financial counseling, career and life skill counseling, real estate advising, relational counseling, donors to sponsor a family.
• On-Call:  Van drivers for emergency, medical, dental, special events.
• Christmas Tree Outreach:  Tree Donors, tree cutting and pick up, tree distribution snack preparation and serving, greeting/evangelism, set up, tear down and clean up.
• Christmas Dinner:  Food preparation, food serving, greeting evangelism, set up, tear down, and clean up.
• N.E.A.R. Center:  Food purchase, food preparation, set up, food serving, tutoring/homework helpers, activity leader, story reader, clean up.
