Production Technician

As the Production Technician, you will assist in the execution of the technical and production elements for weekend services and for other ministry events requiring production support. This full-time position will prepare and organize audio and lighting packages and will require a firm knowledge of most areas of pre- and post-production. In addition, this role will recruit develop, and train production volunteers across locations and ministries.

Responsibilities

  • Continually recruits and trains production volunteers for various production related areas
  • Develops volunteer coaches that serve as high level leaders at all services
  • Coordinates with ministries throughout the church and across campuses to provide quality production and tech in relation to audio, video, lighting and overall production execution
  • Assists in video shooting and video editing
  • Prepares for and organizes audio production for weekend services, rehearsals, and events
  • Consistently hones personal production skills and stays informed with technical advances

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training
  • Experience in live AVL and in most areas of pre- and post- production
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteers
  • Experience with current lighting systems, audio consoles and video switchers
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Planning Center Online, and Pro-Presenter
  • Strengths in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Availability for weekend services, special events, and evening rehearsals
