Why We Do Groups

At GT Church we believe that you can’t grow spiritually if you aren’t connected relationally. The large group setting at our church services is exciting and energizing, but it’s in smaller group settings where meaningful relationships are formed and our faith is lived out. We call these “GT Groups” and the people in a GT Group are a community that often becomes like family. You celebrate great moments together. You support one another through trials. You provide accountability and encouragement as you live out your faith together. And when you do that, you are experiencing exactly what the church was intended to be.

We have dozens of GT Groups, and you can choose the group that fits you best. Some meet at GT and many meet in homes. Join us for GT in 60 and First Steps to find out how to get connected in a GT Group.

About our Groups

We strive to make sure everyone who is interested in a GT Group can find a group that will quickly become like family to them. This often means find a group of people they can relate with. We have a few different types of groups that you can select from at GT.

Coed/Couples/Men's/Women's Groups

These groups meet regularly to grow in their relationship with God and with each other. They gather together to talk, read, and study the Bible and discuss various relevant topics. This is a great setting to ask questions and discuss life application.

Support Groups

These groups provide support, encouragement, and education for people sharing similar struggles or life situations such as addictions, divorce, grief, or cancer.

Interest-Based Groups

These groups share a common hobby or passion, and they gather for activities or teachings related to these interests.
