Production Tech & Coordinator
The Production Tech and Coordinator is responsible for providing production support to ministries as well as managing the administrative operations of the Production Department. This part-time role (20-25 hours per week) includes overseeing schedules, coordinating with other departments, organizing logistics, scheduling volunteers for services and events, and ensuring smooth workflow to meet project deadlines.
- Provide live production support as rostered by the Production Director; this includes weekly Sunday services as well as special events and services. This role will serve in several environments including: adult worship, students, kids, and multi-site.
- Consistently hone personal production skills and stay informed with technical and creative advances
- Participate in auditions, rehearsals, etc. as needed (set up, sound check, review, and cue sheet)
- Maintain and manage equipment, as requested
- Assist in the install of new equipment or stage changes, as requested
- Scheduling and logistics for volunteer rosters for weekend services, special events, projects, team building and training events, maintenance schedules
- Receive and manage requests from ministry leaders and production staff
- Ensure the production office and production lounge are stocked with needed supplies, food, and beverages for volunteers
- Give oversight and direction to the organization of the production office, backstage area, and shop space
Qualifications
- Attention to detail, ability to self-motivate, effectively prioritize, and multi-task
- Excellent project manager; strong communication skills and attentive to deadlines
- Knowledge of live production and AVL is a plus
- Knowledge of proper handling and care of media equipment
- Availability for Sunday morning hours and special events as requested
